A digital projector ceiling mount is a bracket that allows you to suspend your digital projector from the ceiling. Digital projector ceiling mounts come in a range of shapes, styles and colors, but basically they are a bracket that allows you to hang your projector from the ceiling.

While many digital projector brands have custom ceiling mounts designed to exactly match their projectors, these are often expensive. A much cheaper alternative is to buy a universal projector-ceiling mount. Universal mounts usually have three or four arm brackets that can be expanded or retracted as required to match the mounting screw housings on your projector. If you do choose to buy a universal ceiling mount make sure you double check to ensure it is compatible with your projector.

We connected a BluRay disc player directly up to the projector (in service mode) via HDMI. The video was in a position to 1920×1080 and the "red artifacts," that we mentioned earlier was gone when they are directly connected display.
